Camp Wood Haven
Camp Wood Haven | Overnight Camp
Founded in 1954, Camp Wood Haven is located at the foot of Blue Mountain in Schuylkill County in Pine Grove PA!
During the summer, Camp Wood Haven, provides seven weeks of overnight summer camp for campers entering grades 1-12. With a plethora of trails, trees, and an amazing barn, campers enjoy a multitude of activities in addition to arts and crafts, swimming, and the option to sign up for horse programming.
What Makes Wood Haven Special:
Camp Wood Haven is known for its proximity to the Appalachian Trail where campers have the opportunity to do short hikes depending on the program they choose.
Wood Haven is also known for its unique sleeping accommodations including the Birdsong Treehouses, Conestoga Wagons, and Platform Tents. In addition, Wood Haven has creek access, the famous Tree Element - a special ropes course, and the Horse Barn.

Facilities and Accommodations
Campers may be assigned to live in a platform tent, Adirondack shelter, Conestoga wagon, or a tree house.
All accommodations have beds and mattresses (sharing these shelters with three to five other campers). Units are assigned the week prior to camp unless noted in the camp description.
In addition to the sleeping accommodations pictured below, Wood Haven also includes:
Kutz Heim Art Building, Yurt, Dining Hall, Pavilion, Swimming Pool and Pool House, Amphitheater, Office and Health Center

Here's a quick guide on registering for camp, in just four easy steps!
- Login to myGS or create a login before browsing. This makes it easier to add programs to your cart and checkout.
- Look through 2026 Camp and Program Guide - coming soon!
- Once you've chosen a specific camping program, find your session(s) via the Event Calendar.
- Select the session(s) you'd like to register for and click "View Details" then "Register".
- Enter the number of girls you'd like to register and complete the cart checkout process.
- If you didn't login before looking at
programs, click "Log In" to finish the
registration process on the myGS platform.
- Girl Scout Members: Simply log into your myGS account to finish registration.
- Non Girl Scout Members: Click "Don't have an account? Sign up now" and create an account. You will then need to purchase a membership to proceed with registration.
