Spring Delegate Council Meeting
Daisy's Place at Shelly Ridge or virtual
Wednesday, March 22, from 7:00 - 9:00 PM.
The Spring Delegate Council Meeting is open to all members who want to learn more about the Council and national Girl Scout governance news and issues. Participants are encouraged to be in-person at Daisy’s Place at Shelly Ridge, but there is a virtual option available. All Service Unit Delegates, Alternates, and Girl Delegates are strongly urged to attend.
Our Board Chair and CEO will be sharing information on our Movement. The evening will focus primarily on the upcoming National Council Session (NCS). Our NCS Delegation will present the proposals being voted on in July and during the Strategy Café discussions, all attendees will be asked for their opinions and insights on these topics. The Board Development Committee will also share a short report of their work and offer a preview of the Annual Meeting.

Annual Meeting

Saturday, May 6, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
The Annual Meeting will feature the election of our new Board Chair and other Officers, new Board members, Girl Delegates, and Board Development Committee members. Our Board Treasurer will present a report on the Council’s finances, and our CEO will share an overview on the state of the Council. Top Cookie Sellers and Scholarship recipients will also be celebrated. The meeting will be immediately followed by a free lunch for all attendees. Everyone is invited to stay after for fun camp activities, a service project, and a camp tour.
Registration will open on Thursday, April 6.

Attend the National Council Session (NCS) as a visitor and stay for Phenom, the largest in-person gathering of Girl Scouts in the world. The back-to-back events are happening July 18-22, 2023, at Disney World.
Plus, there are additional benefits and opportunities, including a Girl Scout Education Day at EPCOT. Disney Imagination Campus will host an Education Day at EPCOT featuring a Disney Imagination Campus Speaker Series with a diverse panel of Disney Cast Members who are Girl Scout alums (this is limited to the first 3,600 registrants). The Girl Scout Councils in Florida are also hosting a National Bridging Ceremony for all girls bridging to the next grade level in MY24; each girl will receive a special commemorative patch.
