Starting a New Troop
Many Girl Scout troops begin when a parent, caregiver, or community member sees a need or simply wants to create a Girl Scout experience for their child and other girls in their community. You don’t need any previous Girl Scout experience to get started. GSEP provides the training, resources, and ongoing support you need to lead a successful troop.

Support an Existing Troop
You don’t have to start a troop to make a difference! Existing troops rely on adult volunteers to help provide a fun, safe, and high-quality Girl Scout Leadership Experience.
Parents and caregivers, family members, Girl Scout alums, and community members are all welcome. Whether you want to take on a leadership role or help occasionally, there’s a place for you!
