Calling All Girl Bosses is a year-long program empowering girls to lead the change they want to see in their neighborhoods. During the 2026-2027 school year, you’ll work with friends, mentors, and community leaders to identify a problem in your neighborhood and implement a solution that will make a real difference in the place you live.

Through Calling All Girl Bosses, you’ll:

Meet new people
Learn important leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills,
Complete community service hours, and
Earn an impressive achievement that you can put on your resume and college applications.

This is your opportunity to rise up as a leader, role model, and change-maker in your community!

How It Works toggle arrow

Leadership Workshops: Between September 2026 through May 2027, girls will attend 11 three-hour workshops held on Saturdays at safe locations throughout the city. You’ll meet new friends and community leaders while participating in fun, hands-on activities that will build your skills and confidence.

Independent Take Action Projects: In between workshops, you’ll work independently or with a group to design and implement a Take Action project that addresses a community issue by tackling the factors that cause or contribute to it. Through your work, you will also have the opportunity to earn the Girl Scout Gold or Silver Award – the highest awards in Girl Scouting!

Locations & Program Cost toggle arrow

GSEP proudly subsidizes the year-long Calling All Girl Bosses experience because we believe every girl should have access to meaningful leadership opportunities and the Highest Awards. While the full value of the Calling All Girl Bosses experience is more than $500 per girl, GSEP provides significant financial support to keep the program accessible for families.

To help expand access and increase participation, additional financial support is available for girls in Philadelphia, Allentown, and Berks County, where girls have historically earned the Highest Awards at lower rates.
