Shine On, Girl Scouts! Week
October 26-30, 2026
Schools across Eastern Pennsylvania are invited to opt in to Shine On, Girl Scouts! Week, a special week recognizing the Girl Scouts already making a difference in their schools and communities.
Schools with current Girl Scouts can choose to participate and celebrate their students for their courage, confidence, character, leadership, and service.
Throughout the week, participating schools can invite Girl Scouts to wear their uniforms to school on Wednesday, October 28, give special shoutouts during morning announcements, host meetups with school leaders, and find other fun ways to recognize their Girl Scouts and school spirit.
Have Girl Scouts at your school? Join us and help them shine! School administrators can complete a brief form by Friday, September 25 to sign up. Click the purple button below to get started.
Why It Matters
Girl Scouts aren’t just students - they’re changemakers. From earning badges in STEM and the outdoors to taking action through community service projects, Girl Scouts develop the skills that prepare them for a lifetime of leadership. Shine On Week gives schools an opportunity to spotlight these future leaders and the positive impact they’re making right now.
Invite Your School to Shine!
Want your school to participate in Shine On, Girl Scouts! Week? Reach out to your principal or school administrator and encourage them to join the celebration! Check out GSEP's Volunteer Guide with steps on how to invite your school to join the celebration.
It’s an easy way for schools to celebrate their Girl Scouts and the leadership, service, and school spirit they bring every day.
