Girl Scouts at the Reading Public Museum
The RPM offers workshops and sleepovers that allow girls to earn a variety of badges.
Workshops run daily from 9 a.m.- 8 p.m.
Sleepovers are Fridays at 6 p.m.-Sundays at 8:30 a.m.

Compliments to the Chef
Compliments to the Chef provides mobile, private Healthy Hands Cooking classes that can be scheduled by request at your location. Our Healthy Hands Cooking Classes are all about fun, food and facts! We start every class with an entertaining, interactive nutritional game or activity and follow that up with hands-on creation of delicious healthy recipes. We offer 2 hour Snack, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner classes as well as 3 and 4 day Class Series where we go deeper into cooking skills, nutrition and create more advanced recipes. We bring everything needed to complete your badge, so it's a no hassle experience.

Girl Scout Group Discounts at LEGOLAND Discovery Center, Plymouth Meeting
For pre-booked groups of 10 or more, LEGOLAND Discovery Center is offering a reduced ticket rate of $12.50 per person; nearly 50% off the normal rate! In addition, for every 10 Girl Scout who purchases a discounted ticket, 2 adult chaperones will receive free entry. A special LEGOLAND Discovery Center scout patch is also included in the price of your discounted ticket. Click here to learn more and plan your troop visit.
LEGOLAND Discovery Center also offers fun, educational workshops that fit into several different badge curriculums. These workshops are only an additional $3 per person for pre-booked groups of 10 or more. You can learn more about the workshops here.
Overnights at the Delaware Museum of Natural History
Spend a night at the DMNH and snoose near the dinosaurs, Hall of Shells, or animals in the African Watering Hole. Explore the Museum and participate in activities that work toward a specific adventure/badge/journey. Enjoy a snack and watch a movie before lights out. Light breakfast is provided. Programming can be tailored for Scouts of different levels that are sleeping together. Choose any of the badges or journeys currently offered for your evening's programming. Crafty Chef Academy
The Crafty Chef Academy is an “on-the-go” cooking and crafting academy started by a pediatric health psychologist turned chef enthusiast.
At TCCA, we bring the creatively satisfying fun to you or near you! We will teach you how to cook, bake, craft, create, all while having a great time! All of our classes include theme-specific nutritional activities before we delve into the hands-on experience of learning our way through the kitchen. We will discuss tricks and tips and healthy alternatives to food favorites. TCCA prides itself on tailoring programs to meet your specific taste buds.
We offer specially discounted programs for Girl Scouts as part of our Cooking Badge programs that are sure to meet the requirements for any scout level. We also host fun patch cooking/baking/decorating programs. Given that TCCA grew from the owner’s work with pediatric obesity, we have a huge commitment to health and offer a variety of healthy cooking programs. Other services include community events, private events, birthdays, one-day workshops, 4-day camps, college survival classes, and Moms Night Out programs. We look forward to hosting an event for you. Cunningham Music School
The Cunningham Music School is a proud supporter of the Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania! The Juniors Musician Badge can be earned through out badge class! (2 hours in length minimum, may increase with exceptionally large or exceptionally curious groups - getting through questions takes up time!)
The girls will explore how music is made by learning about the piano, violin, and a conga drum. We will provide an explanation on instruments family, orchestras, and other instrumental ensembles, and how alide these instruments are depsite the large differences they appear to have.
The girls will learn about world music with a comparison of an exerpt from Scheherazade: Remastered in Afro-Cuban style by Joachim Horsley. The girls will talk about differences between traditional classical western music and it's latina counterparts. From there, the girls will be invited to assist their teacher in creating a song with them. They will rehearse it together and then perform it at the end of the class.

Girl Scout Tours of Historic Philadelphia by Pedicycle
Bring your troop on a fun and educational historic tour of Philadelphia by 15-passenger bike. Scouts will pedal through Independence National Historical Park, the country’s most historic square mile, with a knowledgeable and amusing guide, stopping to explore Carpenters’ Hall, Christ Church and Elfreth’s Alley.
It’s a 2-hour ride on Big Red Pedal Tours’ open air pedicycle (with 10 pedaling seats and 5 non-pedaling seats). Each bike seats 15 people and we can do 5 bikes at once for a total of 75 people. Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy
The Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy has multiple programs for girls of all ages, many of which complete badge requirements. The programs are designed to teach girls about their local watershed and encourage them to take an interest in environmental issues and conservancy. The Giving Tree is a non-profit organization that provides hands-on service opportunities for youth. The organization will provide service projects for individuals or an entire troop. Each service project comes complete with all of the items for the activity, detailed instructions as well as educational materials for prompting discussion. Completed projects are returned to The Giving Tree where volunteers coordinate delivery of the finished projects to those in need in the community.
