Gir Scouts of Fastern Pennsvvania strives to provide everv interested girl and adult volunteer the opportunity to join a troop. All troops that are not at canacitv are listed in the Opportunity Catalog. A leader can apply to opt our of the Opportunity Catalog in limited circumstances in which a troop has an extreme hardship that would be exacerbated by the addition of more girls.
If you are making an opt-out request for multiple troops, you will need to fill out a new request form for each individual troop. Thank you!
All decisions are made by the Opt-Out Review Committee within 10 business days of receipt of your application. Please note, this turn-around time may be longer during times of high volume. All committee decisions are final.
