Jump into the wonderful world of Girl Scouting with a week of games, skill-building, songs, science experiments, and hands-on STEM experiences. This summer, Philly Camp will be housed in two different locations: Community College of Philadelphia Northeast and Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. Click the options below to see the different types of camp available!
Philly Camp is a unique Girl Scout experience that allows Philadelphia girls entering grades 4-12 to attend one week-long session of Girl Scout camp for free.
To make the experience more accessible, breakfast and lunch will be provided for the girls.
There will be limited transportation available via school bus at designated pick up spots in the morning and afternoon set up by GSEP through North Philadelphia (weeks 1 and 2) and Southwest Philadelphia (weeks 3 and 4) to allow girls in those areas to travel to and from camp.
Weather permitting, each week the whole camp will take a trip to one of Pennsylvania’s beautiful nature parks. While there, expect to explore the hiking trails, learn what it means to take care of the environment, and earn the Eco badge for your age group!
