Take the Lead is GSEP's signature fundraising event honoring our
community's most distinguished women whose leadership and professional
achievements make the world a better place. Did you know that YOU can
also participate in Take The Lead? There are a variety of Lead Roles
available for Girl Scouts in grades 9-12. There is something for every
Girl Scout! In your interview you will be asked what role you would be
most interested in.
In mid-October, a member of the Girl
Experience team will reach out to every girl who registers for a Lead
Girl Scout Role to set up a virtual interview. All Lead Roles require
an interview for selection.
Girls will be notified if they have been selected for a Lead Role in November. Girls selected for a Lead Role will be required to:
- attend an in-person Lead Girl Training at Camp Laughing Waters on Saturday December 6, 2026 in the afternoon (snack provided).
- attend an in-person Rehearsal at the Take the Lead event venue (snack provided). The Greater Philadelphia Take the Lead will be hosted in a venue in the Greater Philadelphis Area in mid-March 2027. The exact date and location will be announced at a later time.
- attend the Take the Lead event (dinner provided).
