Girl Scout Alums

CEOs. Scientists. Athletes. Artists. Mothers. Leaders.
Two-thirds of the most successful women were Girl Scouts. One in every two adult women in the U.S. has at some point been a member of Girl Scouts. It’s no coincidence that most our nation’s female leaders and business owners were once Girl Scouts.

Read the latest Girl Scout Research Institute report, Girl Scouting Works: The Alumnae Impact Study. Girl Scout alumnae are proof that Girl Scouts is developing tomorrow’s leaders.

On my honor, I will try
To serve God and my country
To help people at all times
And to live by the Girl Scout Law

I will do my best
To be honest and fair,
Friendly and helpful,
Considerate and caring,
Courageous and strong, and,
Responsible for what I say and do, and to,
Respect myself and others
Respect authority
Use resources wisely,
Make the world a better place and,
Be a sister to every Girl Scout

Upcoming Alum Events

Alum Events Calendar

Adult Camping Weekend 2020 is going virtual on Saturday August 22!

We have established a Facebook group called ACW 2020 at GSEP. You may request to join that group at any time. We will be posting information and program activities on that Facebook page regularly. They will include things like tree identification with Miss Nancy, Waldorf Salad with Chef Tootie, and making S’mores without a fire with Girl Scouts Hadley and Logan.

We will also be hosting a Zoom virtual campfire on Saturday August 22 from 7-9 PM. We have been challenged to have 300 or more people at that campfire so feel free to invite your friends! Registration is now open. Please click here to register.

As always one of the major focuses of our event is raising funds for the GSEP Graduating Senior Scholarships. For the last few years we have given thirteen (13) $1,000 scholarships. Our goal this year is $15,000. Our ACW committee, with 100% participation, has issued a challenge! We will match the first $4,550 that is donated. No amount is too large, in our opinion, and no amount is too small!! To donate to the GSEP Graduating Senior Scholarship Fund, click here.
