The 2024 Cookie Season is fast approaching,
and we are looking for a few Girl Scouts to join our CEO Kim E.
Fraites Dow on live TV on Kickoff Day, January 18, 2024!
Local television stations often invite GSEP on to their morning news shows to promote the start of the Cookie Program. We are working to secure interviews at Philadelphia and Lehigh Valley TV stations now. There is no guarantee these interviews will happen, but the chances are good.
If you have a Girl Scout in your troop who would like to be part of these in-studio interviews, check out the requirements then email us a response to the questions below.
Not all respondents will be selected, as space is limited.
Requirements:
- Available on January 18, 2024, from approximately 5:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. (Time frame will be narrowed down and will be confirmed the week before).
- Has transportation to one or more TV stations in Philadelphia (for Greater Philadelphia based troops) and WFMZ for Lehigh Valley based troops.
- Can attend wearing their Girl Scouts vest or sash.
- Can bring Cookies for sale at the station.
- Available for one pre-call information session and training in January, date & time TBD.
- Exhibits confidence and character to be on live television.
We can provide a school absence note, if requested.
