We depend on charitable contributions to help offset the cost of serving our girls, and keep programs, events, and leader training affordable. We also depend on gifts to provide financial assistance to girls.
Adult Camping Weekend
Held each summer, this event is an opportunity for volunteers to come together, participate in camp activities, ‘make new friends but keep the old’ and generate contributions to the GSEP Older Girl Scholarship Fund. The 20th Annual Adult Camping Weekend at Camp Tweedale, held August 20-22, 2010, raised over $6000. Enjoy a weekend full of laughter, fun, and relaxation and help support our girls at the same time. Your Dove purchase helps build self-esteem.

Gifts from Individuals
Regular annual gifts from individuals are an essential element in funding Girl Scouting. They allow the Council to plan effectively and provide unrestricted dollars which can be used for volunteer training and support, recruitment efforts, program costs and financial assistance to girls.
Program Support/Annual Giving helps us provide an exciting array of special programs and workshops for girls in this region. In addition, these gifts help us train more than 15,000 adult volunteers.
Family Partnerships link girls and their families in meaningful philanthropy.
Camperships/Scholarships allow girls who could not otherwise afford Girl Scout experiences to participate in troop, day camp and overnight camp activities.

Matching Gifts
Your employer may have a program to match contributions to not-for-profit organizations, and GSEP may be eligible. Check with your personnel department for details. Many individuals and families increase their contributions each year through matching gifts.
