Deadline extended through January 31st for Applications and Referrals for Girl Advisors to the Board of Directors and Girl Delegates.
The Board Development Committee is also seeking applications and referrals for Girl Advisors to the Board of Directors. In order to be eligible to apply, girls must be currently in either 10th or 11th grade. These prestigious positions serve one-year terms and give girls a great opportunity to be an integral part of the governance process for our Council. The term begins at the annual meeting, which will be held on 4/21/2012 and are elected by the Delegates of our Council.
If you are interested in becoming a Girl Advisor, please fill out the application below. In addition to the application, this position requires two references. Both the application and references are due by January 31, 2012.
The Girl Delegate Committee is seeking applications and referrals for Girl Delegates. In order to apply for these positions, girls must be 14 years or older at the time of the election, which will be held at our annual meeting on 4/21/2012. Girl Delegates have a great opportunity to provide valuable feedback to the Board and be a part of the governance process. The term begins at the annual meeting, which will be held on 4/21/2012 and are elected by the Delegates of our Council.

Governance Calendar 2011-2012
Delegates should attend one meeting in the Fall, one in the Spring and the Annual Meeting. Each meeting will last two hours. Please check the Governance Calendar and choose the session that is most convenient for you.
Annual Meeting
The Annual Meeting held on May 14, 2011 at Penn View Christian School was a huge success. Quorum was reached, and business was conducted in a timely fashion. Ann Thornton Field, Board Chair, gave the Governance Report, Natalye Paquin, CEO, the Management Report, and Maria T. Kraus, Board Member-at Large, the Treasurer's Report.
