First Aid/CPR Training

First Aid and CPR training is required of the adult acting as the primary first-aider for Girl Scout troop or group activities when specified in the Safety Activity Checkpoints. While GSEP offers these courses periodically throughout the year, volunteers may also contact their local community providers for First Aid/CPR Courses in their area. Prior to enrolling, be sure to view the GSUSA Approved First Aid/CPR Provider List to see which providers and courses are acceptable. Please also note that pricing and expiration dates differ amongst providers. Upon receiving their certification, volunteers are asked to forward a copy of their certification card/certificate either by mail to the Training Registrar at P.O. Box 814, Valley Forge, PA 19482 or via email to smatta@gsep.org.

If food is being stored in these kitchens or served in the dining hall, the kitchen is considered to be in use, even if no cooking is involved.

ServSafe® Classes are offered regularly by the Pennsylvania Restaurant Association (PRA) throughout the GSEP jurisdiction. Click here to see the flyer. As a PRA Select Chapter member, GSEP is entitled to a discounted price of $85 on the training required for certification. To take advantage of the discount, type Girl Scouts of Eastern PA in the Company Name section of the registration form.
