Adult Awards & Recognitions
New Award Added! - Leadership Knot
Service Units honored with the Leadership Knot, have fully committed themselves and effectively assisted girls in their Service Unit in earning their Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards; in turn, impacting the community, creating change and distinctly enhancing the Girl Scout mission. Its aim is to encourage award earning with girls and Service Unit cohesiveness . Girls who earn their Girl Scout Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards, do not only reflect diligence, critical thinking and creativity on themselves, but also on the dedicated volunteers that helped throughout the process. Service Unit awardees will be determined based on a ratio of the number of eligible girls to awards presented according to the previous membership year.

2014 Adult Recognitions Awards Recipients
On May 21, 2014 at La Massaria at Bella Vista, Girl Scouts of Eastern PA proudly awarded and publicly recognized the outstanding work of extraordinary volunteers throughout our council. We honor their dedication and contributions to improving the lives of girls and making Eastern Pennsylvania a better place. Without the work of adult volunteers, Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania would not be able to provide the Girl Scout Leadership Experience and build girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. It was an honor to recognize your work! Thank you to all who supported, nominated, and those that were honored, for your unwavering dedication and commitment to forwarding the mission of Girls Scouts. You can find more details regarding awardees in the 2014 Annual Council Awards Book.
