2019 Camp Scholarships

Janet & Solomon Eshner Campership

JANET AND SOLOMON ESHNER CAMPERSHIP (City of Philadelphia residents only)
Janet A. Eshner, former Camp Director of Girl Scouts’ Camp Indian Run, established this endowment in order to make camp more affordable to girls with leadership potential. Award is for up to two weeks of resident camp.

Criteria: Nominee must be a currently registered Girl Scout, a current resident of the City of Philadelphia, and exhibit leadership potential.

Nominee Requirements and Instructions 

  1. Fill out application form below.
  2. Submit a one-page essay on how she demonstrated leadership through her Girl Scout camping experiences.
  3. Describe in writing why the camp scholarship is a financial need.
  4. Submit two letters of recommendation (non-relative) attesting to her leadership ability and financial need.
  5. Write a thank you note to Janet A. Eshner after camp (address will be supplied by GSEP).
Sally A. Moyer Campership

SALLY A. MOYER CAMPERSHIP (Pottstown residents only)
In memory of Sally A. Moyer, an active volunteer for more than 50 years, deserving girls from the Pottstown area will be able to enjoy one of her favorite activities –Girl Scout camping. Award is for up to two weeks of day camp or one week of resident camp.

Criteria: Nominee must be a currently registered Girl Scout and a current resident of Pottstown, PA.

Nominee Requirements and Instructions 

  1. Fill out application form below.
  2. Describe in writing why the campership is a financial need.
  3. Submit one letter of recommendation (non-relative) attesting to the nominees’ financial need.
Anne Trevaskis Campership

ANNE TREVASKIS CAMPERSHIP (Chester, Delaware County residents only)
Mildred Kriebel, the former Camp Upland Administrator of Girl Scouts of Delaware County, set up this Fund in memory of her mother, Anne Trevaskis. This award is for up to two weeks of day camp or one week of resident camp.

Criteria: Nominee must be a currently registered Girl Scout and a current resident of Chester, Delaware County.
