Girl Scout Week 2018
Here at Girl Scouts, we have many important traditions that give us a sense of pride and inspire us to tell our story. Did you know that Girl Scouts was founded by Juliette Gordon Low on March 12, 1912? To honor this history, every March we celebrate Girl Scout Week. The week starts on Girl Scout Sunday and ends on Girl Scout Sabbath, and it always includes Girl Scouts' birthday, March 12.
This year's Girl Scout Week will begin on Sunday, March 11, and end on Saturday, March 17. Girl Scout Sunday and Girl Scout Sabbath give girls an opportunity to attend their place of worship and be recognized as a Girl Scout. Ask your place of worship if you can distribute flyers, bulletins, or inserts to attendees or participate in the service.
