Quick Find

Where the Wild Things Live

Aark is a haven for thousands of injured and orphaned birds and mammals, run by a mother-daughter pair who are experts in wildlife rehabilitation. Explore the grounds to see the habitats of animals that live in our forests and fields. The rehab center tries to make injured animals feel comfortable while they recover by recreating their homes in the wild. Using "found" natural materials, you will make an animal house, too! A live animal presentation will feature woodland creatures. Bring something to sit on outside. If not attending with a troop, individual girls must be accompanied by an adult. *Includes snack and Animal Habitat Badge.
