Real Girls Leadership Conference
Real Girls. Real Change. Real Power.
Join us for our third annual leadership conference which will be full of girl power and fun with girls from all across Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania. You will be inspired and energized to set goals and dream big! Meet new friends, learn how to become a healthier you, and advocate for the world around you. Girls Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania is excited to be partnering with Cedar Crest College’s Women’s Leadership Institute as they launch their report on the “Status of Women and Girls in Pennsylvania.” A panel discussion will be held to learn more about the Women’s Leadership Institute, their research on women and girls in all areas impacting their lives, and how you can work to create positive change for girls all over Pennsylvania and the world. Workshops will be focused on the It’s Your World-Change It! Journey series and Skill Building Badges (Please Note: Workshops will be supplemental activities to the Journeys and may only complete a portion of the associated badges). A
bagged lunch and patch will be provided.
Registration will close Sunday March 24, 2013, at which time workshop selection forms will be emailed to all girls. These forms must be returned by Monday April 1, 2013 to guarantee placement in workshop selections. Confirmation information will be emailed out by Monday April 8, 2013.
