New Hires
Megan Rich was hired as Senior Outdoor Program Manager and Camp Director (Laughing Waters). She will also be overseeing the Shelly Ridge and Valley Forge day camps. Previously, Ms. Rich was the Director of Summer Programs / Camp Director for Camp Dogwood. She earned her BA in Government from Hamilton College and her law degree from Brooklyn Law School.
Stefany Wilson is the new Development Manager. Previously, Ms. Wilson worked at DARE New Jersey, Inc, and she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communications from California State University.
Chanell Johnson is a new Product Program Manager. Previously, Ms. Johnson worked at Head Start Learning Tree. She earned her degree in Mass Communications – Broadcast Television from Lincoln University.
Carolyn Silverthorn was hired as Controller. Previously, Ms. Silverthorn worked at Bartonpartners Architects Planners, Inc. as their Chief Financial Officer/Controller. Ms. Silverthorn earned her Bachelor’s in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University.
Mary Ellen Urquhart joined GSEP as our Accounting Manager. Previously, Ms. Urquhart worked at Ruggiero & Company, PC. She earned earned her MBA with a major in Accounting from New York University.
Asdrey Irizarry was brought on as a Volunteer Specialist. Previously, Ms. Irizarry worked at The Please Touch Museum, and she earned her Master’s in Art Education from The University of the Arts.
Paula Singer is the new Director of Program. Previously, Ms. Singer worked at The Women’s Funding Network, and she earned her Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Bryn Mawr College.
Promotions
Lauri Kochis is now a Membership Manager for Region 3. Previously Ms. Kochis was working with our Product Program Team as a Temporary Reorder Station Assistant and before that she worked as a Community Organizer for New Kensington CDC and earned her BA in English from Penn State University.
Marques Storr, a temporary member of our finance team, joined us on a permanent basis as the Accounting Manager – Analysis. Mr. Storr graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelors in Accounting and previously worked at the Pathways to Housing, Inc.
