The 100th Anniversary of Girl Scouting provides a unique opportunity to reflect on the impressive contribution that Girl Scouts has made over the past 100 years, to rally support as we bridge into the next century of serving girls and of course – to celebrate! |
Join Us as We Celebrate Girl Scouts' 100th Anniversary!
In 2012, current Girl Scouts, Alumnae, and communities across the country will be celebrating 100 years of developing girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place! GSEP will be commemorating this special occasion beginning in November 2011 through a variety of girl, troop, service unit, council-sponsored events, and national events.

In honor of the 100 Year Anniversary Celebration, a troop in Montgomery County set a special target for this year’s cookie sales: to raise enough money to attend the Century of the Girl Expo! Since they are already taking part in the opening ceremony, this troop is determined to sell cookies quickly so that they can take advantage of early bird registration, which ends February 20th. Looking at their thermometer goal, these Girl Scouts are well on their way! |
